Overview
Care Plus is a wristwatch interface that allows users to track vital health metrics such as heart rate, steps, sleep quality, and workout progress. The design was tailored for small screens with a clear visual hierarchy, gesture-based navigation, and large touch-friendly UI elements. It also includes quick-glance widgets, customizable goals, and sync integration with mobile apps for extended analytics.

The Challenge
Designing for small wearable screens came with unique challenges: limited space, need for minimal input, and ensuring readability in motion. Additionally, users needed fast access to health insights without going through complex menus or cluttered visuals.
The Solution
I created a clean, icon-driven interface using bold typography and color-coded feedback for quick recognition (e.g., green for good, red for alert). The structure prioritized one-task-at-a-time interactions with swipe and tap gestures. Animations were kept subtle and purposeful to guide the user’s attention without distraction.
The Result
The final design was praised for its clarity and accessibility. In user testing, participants were able to access key health data 40% faster than with competing UI models. The design contributed to a more confident and consistent user experience, especially among non-tech-savvy fitness users.
